--Then I was home for awhile doing shrine things but I pushed by the town's higher ups to be a sacrifice for a scary all powerful mega big time demon lord that ruled over us. Many maidens were sent to him and none were ever seen again...word was that he could turn anything and everything into sand and that he liked to eat young maidens....
[Leona speaks up once they’re in a different room. He leans against the wall, looking tired.]
Just a town over. It’s one of the safer places for them as it’ll be protected by the Sky Demons. We’ll be smuggling them out of the fishing village to get them there.
So for now, just rest and conserve your energy. Don’t push yourself more than you’d have to. Depending how tonight goes, you’ll be defense if something goes awry.
[after they rest and wait for the cover of night to smuggle the kids out, things seem to go rather smoothly. Moroha is on high alert but no one really seems to catch them bring the children to the sky demons.
[Fortunately, it’s a quick and smooth mission and the sky demons do offer them a place to stay for the night. The other demons are bringing the children in, helping them find rooms to settle in for the night.
Leona sighs and looks at his companions.]
Want to stay here for the night? We’ll leave at dawn.
[She smiles to him and Seth. Though she feels something a bit strange that as he blinking and looking around a bit before waving goodnight and going to the room given to her. Lily follows after]
can we share a bed Leon? Not to do anything but to sleep. I think it’d be nice.

[He sighs. Nodding to him, he walks off to find Hanako.
The kids all look up at her with wide eyes. They do ask questions here or there, but seem to settle down around her.]

Didn’t know you were such a compelling storyteller, pup.
no subject
Y-Yeah? Well...I hung out with the kids in town alot and you pick up on things...ya know?
[Smile???]
Everything good?
no subject
[He hums.]
Yeah. Mind if I steal you for a moment? Need to talk to you.
no subject
Uh, sure?
[She gets up. He seems...unhappy. She figures maybe hes tired from last night after everything.]
Here fine or you wanna go else where?
no subject
[He waits for her briefly before leading her away from the room.]

no subject
That’s great news there’s somewhere safe for them. I’m glad. We’ll get them there tonight then?
[She perks and smiles]
no subject
[He exhales slowly.]
So for now, just rest and conserve your energy. Don’t push yourself more than you’d have to. Depending how tonight goes, you’ll be defense if something goes awry.
no subject
Leave it to me. I’ll keep everyone safe.
[She grins more. She gets some action!]
You should rest up too then.
no subject
[There’s a brief pause before he reaches out, hand cupping her cheek.
He looks thoughtful for a moment.]
…you should shower. I can smell the sea on you.
no subject
……is that your nice way of saying I stink?
[She doesn’t seem offended though.]
I know it was all apart of the plan…but thanks for saving me and the kids.
no subject
[A slight frown before he pulls his hand back.]
Stay within the inn for now and don’t let yourself be seen. With how things have gone, it’s going to attract attention.
no subject
Y-yeah. I wasn’t planning on it.
[She nods to him. She lingers a bit longer before excusing herself to go wash up. Moroha passes by him]
Make sure you get some rest too…
[With that she to the bathroom]
no subject
[He watches her leave before sighing softly.
This…may be an issue.
Leona shakes his head and walks off to a different room.]
no subject
Seth is grateful. He’s still tired cat]
no subject
Leona sighs and looks at his companions.]

no subject
[Seth yawns. Moroha nods too]
Roof over my head and a cozy bed, I got no problems.
[She smiles, giving a thumbs up]
no subject
[He yawns.]
I’m beat.
no subject
Same here. We did a lot the last two days.

He looks at Seth.]
That’s fine. I’m not against it.
no subject
Seth’s ears perk and he gives a lazy grin. It won’t be much of a cat cuddle pile but better than nothing. He nods and heads to Leona’s room]
