[Leona smirks.]

[She tries to shove him back]

[He barely budges.]

Then I guess that’ll remain a mystery.

[But he does watch her, something unreadable in his gaze for a moment. Then he blinks it away.]

Ever considered finding a romantic partner at some point?

[She blinks.

Where did...that come from? Moroha looks more confused and frowns]

I'm a quarter demon. That romantic stuff isnt for me.

[She waves her hand dismissively.]

Besides, the only thing I had were people trying to charm me to get close to mom and the shrine. I'm not really apart of the shrine that much anymore.

Would you ever be interested in someone romantically? You being a quarter demon and all that being a non-factor.

[Blink blink. She slowly looks at him again....and quickly averts her eyes]

I-it doesn't matter anyway! I'm fine on my own!

[.... Moroha slowly looks at him, trying not to stare]

...I'd say you're messing with me or you're doing it to make fun of me in some way or I donno what else. You're a demon lord, you can have....anyone! There's princesses and everything lustin' for you.

[She's heard stories. Seen pretty girls and guys looking at Leona longingly. She gets it too! He is too handsome....like even she's noticed how good looking he is.]

Just because I can have anyone doesn’t mean I want them.

[He keeps his gaze on her. He frowns a bit.]

I know what I want and I want you.

[Though he isn’t surprised by her words. He’s noticed she has a dangerous amount of self worth even if she doesn’t think so.]

[She really is a bit caught by that. She knows the lion likes to tease her and keep her around for some reason. Sure there are jokes but she really just believes they're just that. She has no value to bring him or anything to offer him. Leona is a strange creature. It'd make more sense if he was keeping her around to eat her later or something.]

....There's no reason for you too. That doesnt make any sense!

[She can feel her heart starting to pound. She doesn't want to feel his words. She needs to keep her walls up to protect herself and her heart]

All I've done is try to fight you.

And as you've seen, I'm not bothered by that.

[Leona tilts his head.]

If you want to argue, you need to find a better argument.

[Because he knows what he wants and he usually does pursue it. For the most part. He can already see her walls trying to build up, protect her from getting hurt.]

[She frowns at him. A demon lord that can have anything he wants. Leona is one of the top ones at that. She doesn't get it!]

[She growls getting more defensive]

Pup, you've been with me long enough to know that I don't joke about these sort of things.

[He frowns at her now.]

I want you because you're you. What other reason do I need?

[She can't help staring at him in disbelief. She's speechless for once. She doesn't know what to say.

He's...not wrong. This isnt something he'd joke about. But its hard to believe. It makes no sense. He wants her for her? What the hell..]

[Her mouth opens and closes. She really is at a loss for words for once]

You don't have to give me an answer now, but think on it. Think about what you want and if the risk is worth it.

[Leona continues to watch her, expression careful.

[She lingers there for a long moment before clenching her hands into fists and just walking off along the beach.

Iris blinks watching her go as she stands with the group. Rom looks curious too but he offers Leona a plate with some food when he is close enough]

[Leona nods to Rom, taking the plate of food. He begins to eat, not seeming to mind that Moroha has walked off.

Kagami looks curious too, head tilting to the side as he glances between Leona and Moroha.]

[Iris is curious too but she sighs softly and just sits with Kagami. She offers him some meat too.

Rom relaxes with Leona there. His tail sways]

It feels good out today. It's gonna be a nice night too.

It'd be a good night to look at some stars.

[He takes a bite and chews.

Kagami perks, happily eating the meat.]

Iris smiles seeing kagami eat and pets him. He's a good cub.]

I can set a nice place on the beach for ya if you want to star gaze. We got the blankets for it.
