If you want meat, you gotta help.

[Kagami waves after her. He’s going to finish the rest of the cookies while Jack shows Moroha where everything else is to help out.]

But she does go along with Jack]

Yeah yeah, I hear ya.

[She waves her hand dismissively. She does like helping though so she does carry anything he tells her too and helps him set up]

Have you ever tried barbecuing before?

[Jack looks over at her curiously as they set everything up.]

Nope but if its meat and tasty I want all of it. I dont know how to do it...but thats why you're here?

What about I teach you?

[He looks amused.]

It actually isn’t that hard to grill meats.

[She blinks at him]

Uh sure. If it aint hard ill try.

You’re not scared of cooking, are you?

[He can’t help but tease.]

What? No. I know how to throw something over a fire and make rice and stuff!

[She huffs at him. Wow Jack]

So you've never used a stove?

Uh... nope! We had one but I never learned it. Mom cooked or left me leftovers mostly.

[If she pointed it out to her mother, she'd probably teach her but its never crossed her mind]

Jack stares at her.

He sighs.]

I'll teach you how to use it when we get back to the palace.

It’s not a big deal. People just bring you food at the palace.

[She snickers a bit. Moroha isn’t wrong]

If I bring it up to Leona, he'll have us cooking for ourselves for a week.

[A soft snort.]

He's done it before.

[She blinks at that and makes a face.]

To give the chefs a vacation.

[Jack shrugs.]

And sometimes he likes to punish us.

.....I feel like he likes to punish cause he thinks its funny.

[She shakes her head]

[He snickers.]

But it's always good to know how to cook.

Alright, alright. I'll let you show me so you better be a good teacher, Jack!

[She grins a bit. With that she helps him finish setting up and start getting the food on the grill]

[Jack sighs, but he does begin to show her.


It's an hour later that Leona emerges, grumbling while one hand is being dragged by Kagami in his human form. The cub seems excited, especially when he smells freshly cooked meat.]

Look what the cat dragged in.

[Moroha snickers and pats Kagami when hes close enough. Good job.

She lifts her gaze to look at Leona]

Have a good nap?

Did you send the cub to me?

[Leona looks disgruntled.]

It was a short nap.

Nope but probably would have eventually. Naps are suppose to be short anyway. That's why its a nap and not just sleep.

[She holds up a peice of steak on a fork.]

Here, try it. You think it needs longer?

It's a nap.

[He's adamant even as he takes a bite of the steak.]

Hm, just a minute or two longer. It's still too rare.

Alrighty.

[She smiles and puts them on a bit longer.]

After that we should be able to eat then.

[He yawns.]

I'm going to lay down more then.

[With that, he goes over to the hammock.

Kagami looks amused, tail swaying.]
