[ No need to change it, Ven says. Of course there's a need. Ven is stuck with a soulmate who is moping over someone he's not bound to through stupid little tattoos on the insides of their wrists. He can't even begin to imagine how that must feel and yet... he makes no effort to stop. He does his best not to show it around Ven, sure, but to cut Sora out of his heart, to somehow come to terms with the fact that Sora is not his soulmate after everything they've been through... it's some sort of cruel joke and Riku's not finding it funny in the least.

Teeth dragging over his lower lip, Riku watches the way in which Ventus leans against his leg without even really realizing it more than likely. There's something about the way he does it, something that causes a pull to be felt but, as always, Riku ignores it and fixes his gaze out onto the sea in front of them. ]
