Sinners and beggars don't play a part here
[Auctions.
Izumo hated those with a passion, and his family coming and forcing him to partake in one is enough to raise his shackles. It's inhuman to sell people for entertainment, especially ones experimented on to be used as fighters.
He's lost his taste for them quickly the moment his family has decided to use Mikoto, his best friend, as one of the earlier models. Reining in his best friend was easy at first until he's gone control, forcing Izumo to submit control over to Totsuka. While it hurts, Izumo can trust Totsuka to care for Mikoto, allowing them to stay in his house so that Izumo can find a way to reverse whatever's been done.
Nothing's worked out so far, though.
Izumo ignores the excited chatter as he makes his way through the crowd, his disgust for it evident on his face.
"It'll be okay, it'll be okay!" Totsuka's voice rang in his ear as Izumo presses his phone against it. "King and I are fine--so will everything else. Don't worry too much."
Izumo has to hold back an urge to sigh, ending the call after Totsuka promises him to give him an update on Mikoto's condition.
He idly listens to the seller list off the 'products' when Izumo's eye catches sight of a young blond man.
Still in his teens, but looks as if he's seen through enough fights in his life.
Izumo frowns, interest piqued, and he makes his way to the front.
His family wants him to get something? Fine. But it'll be on his own terms, and he's not going to allow anyone to touch what belongs to him and tell him what he should do with whomever he decides to 'purchase'.]

[ All of this was still new. Only a couple of weeks have gone. Adjusting to this way was hard, but he was trying his best. ]
Understood.

"I told you everything will be fine!" Totsuka chirps out. "Now, come on, come no! Breakfast is ready!"
It seems to be enough to stir everyone into motion, Fujishima offering to lend Eric a hand while Mikoto goes over to help Izumo up.]

Eric sits down, staring at the food. Because of his wrapped up arm he couldn't really hold any of the plates to bring them closer. But he didn't want to bother anyone, so he sat there, staring at the food. ]

"Do you want help?"
Because everyone's eating and Eric's the one left.]

[ He looks from Fujishima, to Kusanagi and Mikoto, seeing if there was any bad reaction for asking. ]

He looks between Fujishima and Eric before it finally lands on Eric.
He smiles at him.]
It's alright for you to ask, Eric.

Fujishima even helped cutting some things. Eric almost looked like he was pouting, feeling less then capable at the moment. but he could eat along with everyone else, albeit awkwardly and slowly. ]

He sends his old friend a look before he acquiesces.]

[ He looks at the rest of the food on his plate. Glad he didn't have to finish it. ]
If that's what you do, and there won't be any repercussions, then I will save this food....for later.

[A nod to Fujishima, who nods in understanding.]
You're free to walk around if you're up to it, Eric. No one will stop you from wanting to explore.

[ He gives a small bow before leaving the room. The place was big, far bigger then his previous owner's place, and there was much to explore. So Eric took his time, went down every corridor, opening doors and peering into rooms. He familiarized himself with much of the building, even going outside to check out the backyard and front.
This was his home now, and he needed to know it in case of anything. He fiddled with the red marble around his neck, his head still hurt from Mikoto and he was still surprised that he managed to remember something before his time as a fighter. It was strange, was this really what his owner wanted of him? Did Eric want to remember? He still didn't know. ]

It's obvious already that the three of them are concerned about what might happen if Izumo allows Eric to stay. Izumo silences those questions before it gets too far, giving them a look to tell them not to push it any more.
Eventually, Izumo does go out to find Eric himself, just in case the other either got lost or seemed to be examining something.]

Was I taking too long?

Thank you for your concern but, I'm fine. I've looked around a lot.
