Sinners and beggars don't play a part here
[Auctions.
Izumo hated those with a passion, and his family coming and forcing him to partake in one is enough to raise his shackles. It's inhuman to sell people for entertainment, especially ones experimented on to be used as fighters.
He's lost his taste for them quickly the moment his family has decided to use Mikoto, his best friend, as one of the earlier models. Reining in his best friend was easy at first until he's gone control, forcing Izumo to submit control over to Totsuka. While it hurts, Izumo can trust Totsuka to care for Mikoto, allowing them to stay in his house so that Izumo can find a way to reverse whatever's been done.
Nothing's worked out so far, though.
Izumo ignores the excited chatter as he makes his way through the crowd, his disgust for it evident on his face.
"It'll be okay, it'll be okay!" Totsuka's voice rang in his ear as Izumo presses his phone against it. "King and I are fine--so will everything else. Don't worry too much."
Izumo has to hold back an urge to sigh, ending the call after Totsuka promises him to give him an update on Mikoto's condition.
He idly listens to the seller list off the 'products' when Izumo's eye catches sight of a young blond man.
Still in his teens, but looks as if he's seen through enough fights in his life.
Izumo frowns, interest piqued, and he makes his way to the front.
His family wants him to get something? Fine. But it'll be on his own terms, and he's not going to allow anyone to touch what belongs to him and tell him what he should do with whomever he decides to 'purchase'.]

But this Fujishima was driving so that was good, since he saw the other wince. He looked down. ]
I'm sorry.

[Fujishima glances at them as he drives, though he soon looks back to the front.
"Totsuka-san is going to yell at you for getting hurt again, Kusanagi-san."]
no subject
[ An owner must never be harmed. It was a blow to the fighter if that were to happen. ]

[ He wanted to argue more before he realized that meant arguing with his master. So, he looked down. ]
Understood, I'm sorry.
no subject
He'd argue more himself, but he did lose blood before he got to Eric, and it's just now kicking in.]
no subject
Fujishima mentions they have things ready for him when they get. Medical supplies and things to charge him from the blood loss. So to take an easy before they get there. ]

Izumo closes his eyes, allowing himself to fall into some sort of slumber but not too deep. If he ended up staying unconscious for the next few days, waking up to an angry Totsuka and an equally pissed off Mikoto is never a good thing.]
no subject
Eric nods, looking over to his owner and gives him a bit of a shake, until his eyes open, before letting him rest just a bit before he shakes him a bit again. ]
no subject
As much as he finds it mildly annoying, he doesn't stop the younger man. The injury stings him, a sort of flaring pain that is more like a bother, but the main thing that keeps tempting Izumo to sleep is the injury on his back.
He really hated his parents' fighters.]
no subject
Eric followed before Mikoto growled out to stay out of it, wait somewhere else. He lowered his head and nodded, going to wait in his room while Kusanagi was properly patched up. ]
no subject
"So....you're the one he's recently brought home." Fujishima looks a bit detached, even though there's a pinch between his eyebrows as if he's trying to figure something out.]
no subject
Just yesterday.

Fujishima adopts a thoughtful look. "It's rare for Kusanagi-san to bring in anyone. The last one was Chitose, but he quickly released him once he got his memories back."
It's said quietly as if trying to test to see how much he could say.]
no subject
[ Released? Because he got his memories back? What was with this guy then? If he's with the origin family...wouldn't he want the fighters? Why release them? It sounded...so strange. ]
Are you one too, then?
no subject
"But after being released, I began working for Kusanagi-san at his bar, anyway. He's different as you've seen, and there's a reason for that."
He blinks once. "I was part of this current generation's models that was put up for sale."]
no subject
He looked over Fujishima, he was a current generation fighter, but was free. So, he had his memories intact? Was able to be a regular person? But...why? If they were made fighters, they should be fighters. It helped the world, made things better. The origin family had said so and others agreed, so why just his one person...
He frowned, his head starting to hurt trying to think of all this. He wasn't made to think, to only follow his master's orders. He shuffled a bit, drawing up his knees to his chest. ]
Seems like you enjoy it.
no subject
Memories were the most important factor of all.
Fujishima knows, but can't tell Eric - not without permission, anyway.
And the redhead studies Eric. "It was difficult at first, but I do enjoy my life now. I'm grateful to Kusanagi-san for letting me live my own life again without being forced to fight for anyone. I can choose who I want to fight for."]
no subject
[ He listens but at the same time it's hard to believe. Fighters are suppose to like what theu do. Why go back to a normal life anyways? This was just how he eas. How would being released and having memories change anything. ]
no subject
There's a few minutes of silence before Totsuka enters Eric's room after briefly knocking on the door. He gives the two of them a smile.
"Izumo's fine," he tells the two of them, though it's mostly directed at Eric. "He might be out for a bit, though, so I hope you don't sticking around me for a bit, Eric."]
no subject
[ He nods as he perked up from Totsuka coming in. Kusanagi will be okay, that's good. His master will live. ]
I will stay by your side then.
no subject
"Do you want to go see him?"]
no subject
If he wishes to see me.
