Sinners and beggars don't play a part here
[Auctions.
Izumo hated those with a passion, and his family coming and forcing him to partake in one is enough to raise his shackles. It's inhuman to sell people for entertainment, especially ones experimented on to be used as fighters.
He's lost his taste for them quickly the moment his family has decided to use Mikoto, his best friend, as one of the earlier models. Reining in his best friend was easy at first until he's gone control, forcing Izumo to submit control over to Totsuka. While it hurts, Izumo can trust Totsuka to care for Mikoto, allowing them to stay in his house so that Izumo can find a way to reverse whatever's been done.
Nothing's worked out so far, though.
Izumo ignores the excited chatter as he makes his way through the crowd, his disgust for it evident on his face.
"It'll be okay, it'll be okay!" Totsuka's voice rang in his ear as Izumo presses his phone against it. "King and I are fine--so will everything else. Don't worry too much."
Izumo has to hold back an urge to sigh, ending the call after Totsuka promises him to give him an update on Mikoto's condition.
He idly listens to the seller list off the 'products' when Izumo's eye catches sight of a young blond man.
Still in his teens, but looks as if he's seen through enough fights in his life.
Izumo frowns, interest piqued, and he makes his way to the front.
His family wants him to get something? Fine. But it'll be on his own terms, and he's not going to allow anyone to touch what belongs to him and tell him what he should do with whomever he decides to 'purchase'.]

There's a reason why Izumo doesn't live with them.
But he gives a nod.]
We'll leave in an hour then.
I feel so bad Erics so quiet orz
Eric nods, an hour was plenty of time to be ready, for whatever this meeting was going to be. Perhaps he had been right before, it was simply a test of the formula and why he had gone berserk for a short amount if tine.
Either way, he sat at the table, even managing to eat a couple of more bites at Totsuka's suggestion. He shrugged however when he was asked if he liked the food. Food was food, wasn't it?]
don't worry, bb. Izumo's kind of quiet, too
He can only hope his brothers doesn't choose to be assholes and mock Izumo for his choice in purchasing Eric. Though, the thought of it is nearly enough for him to find an excuse but it wouldn't matter.
They'd come to his house in that case.
Totsuka is ensuring Eric eats, though, while Izumo and Mikoto quietly eats their own breakfast.]
/hugs thank you friend<3
Eric tilted his head at the strange comment but merely nodded in response.
Totsuka asked for help with clearly some of the plates that were dirty before they headed out and Eric complied, picking up a few and bringing them to the kitchen with the other.]
<3
He still has time.
Mikoto seems to rouse enough to get up after sharing a look with Izumo, the redhead quickly disappearing out of the kitchen.
Izumo himself stands up to head to the kitchen, poking his head in to look at the two of them.]
Totsuka, I'm leaving Eric in your care, alright? I need to handle a few things.
<333333333
Eric nodded, he was suppose to listen to Totsuka as well after all. So he listened as he taught him to do the dishes, tidy up the table. He was not only suppose to be a fighter, but a cleaner too, huh?
Meanwhile when he wasn't giving instructions he talked and talked about all sorts of things. Eric could barely register what topic he was on about before he started another, so most of it was tuned out. What a strange man, this whole place was rather strange. ]
/loves forever
Making arrangements to visit his family, to put in the proper protocols -- there were several reasons why Izumo hates them so much.
Enough that just one small step is enough to allow their empire to crumple before them.
He makes calls while Mikoto serves as a silent shadow. There's a brief note in the back of his mind to talk to Totsuka about going easy on Eric, to ensure that the blond doesn't feel as if he's supposed to be doing this or that - that he has a right.
Izumo hates it when their free will is taken from them, but they were all players in this deadly game of chess.
He just has to find the right moment to strike.]
/loves forever too <3
Totsuka chattered as usual, trying to get Eric to respond a bit better to things but he rarely got any words out of him that weren't basic two or three words per sentence. ]
<3
"Ah, Izumo!" Totsuka greets cheerfully, only bouncing up from his spot next to Eric when Mikoto returns as well, looking disgruntled.
Izumo blinks once, not minding it as he turns to Eric.]
Ready to go?
<3
He got up from the couch, giving a nod. ]
Ready.
<3
Seems like Totsuka has been talking his ear off, and for that, there's a slightly apologetic look Izumo gives to Eric - perhaps even sympathetic.
I know.
He gives a nod to the other two.]
I'll see you both later. [And with that, he proceeds to lead Eric out.]
Re: <3
He follows Kusanagi, just slightly beside and behind him, ready for whatever was to come meeting the origins family. ]

[Otherwise Izumo will throw in a punch at one of his family members himself.
But they're being ushered into a car and Izumo immediately tells the driver to drive to his family house.
The only fortunate thing is that the origin family's house was close to thirty minutes away from where Izumo lives.]

Alright.
[ He sits in his chair quietly, staring out the window slightly to look at the outside. ]

There is a reason why Izumo does what he can to avoid his family, and maybe after today, Eric will see why, too.
But as the ride goes on, he leans back in his own chair and closes his eyes.]

He reached up to fiddle with the new necklace that was wrapped around his neck. It still felt weird to have no collar, he poked it every once in awhile, a foreign feeling. His skin felt weird, the grooves and all. He tried not to think about it. Instead, he turned to fiddle with the marble on his neck, that was familiar, calming. It was better to ignore his neck. ]

Already, standing there was a man who appeared to be an older version of Izumo, if only with narrowed eyes and a permanent scowl etched onto his face. Beside him stood a woman, beautiful even with wrinkles on her face, but her eyes were cold like ice and her smile sharp as razors.
The car slowly comes to a stop and Izumo places a hand on top of Eric's head.]
Remember what I've told you.
no subject
Understood.

"Izumo, it's been a long time," the woman greets, her smile widening and no less dangerous. "Where is your darling pet?"
Izumo merely musters a smile at his mother, tense and every bit as dangerous as hers - if not more so. Instead of answering her, he simply waves at Eric to come out of the car.]

Izumo simply smiles wider.]
He is. But he's mine, so I greatly appreciate it that you don't touch him.
[The threat is there and it has his father's eyes narrow at him sharply.
"Don't take that tone with me, boy."]

It seemed strange to hear, but he was used to hearing strange things. He kept focus just enough in case they called him, but not enough to really listen. ]

Izumo breathes out, far from being at ease as his mother shortly follows after the patriarch for the family. He looks a bit ill, as if being even near them makes Izumo want to hurl, but he ignores it in order to lead Eric inside.
The inside of the house seems to resemble more of what should be a castle, servants greeting Izumo and by extension, Eric, as they enter the household. Standing at the top of the stairs were two other men, both of them who appeared to be watching them with thinly veiled interest.]

He didn't want to cause any trouble, but it's only too soon when he hears one of the men at the top of the stairs laugh.
"Eh? A blond, huh? Guess you couldn't keep the redhead anymore, little brother. Let's see how fast this one adjusts."
Izumo clenches his jaw just as a fighter appears.]
