Let's bring in chaos | Natsuo

[Lavi was sure he was going to regret this.

But, it had been under the orders of Bookman, and while Lavi was against it, he couldn't exactly disobey his mentor's orders.

It took some pulling of the strings to get Natsuo to get out school for a few days, giving out the excuse that he was needed.

Bringing his friend to Germany, however--

Now that was a different story. For a working historian who is used to traveling around in order to recording history, get all of the details - it's basically a war field if certain cards aren't played right. Then again, it can easily become a battlefield, too, since dead men did enjoy their secrets.

Breathing out, Lavi plastered on a smile as he led Natsuo into their hotel.

What was his old man thinking?]

Y'sure you got everything you needed?

[Natsuo was almost giddy with excitement about going to Germany! He had a smile on, but it wasn't as bright as he was happy. Had to hold it in some, right?

The Bookman seemed interested in him, which was fine with Natsuo. Asked a ton of questions before deciding that Lavi was going to take him. Not that Lavi was told about that meeting. Bookman had come to the school to check it out on his own, to find out about the little boy that was hanging around Jr.

Natsuo told him everything he knew about the school, the battles and so on. It was something that was forbidden, but in exchange Natsuo was given the okay to be around Lavi whenever he wanted. That included travel.]

Yeah! Checked everything twice. Do you speak German?

[It did make him curious as to why Bookman seemed to allow Natsuo to tag along.

His mentor doesn't do anything without a purpose.

There's always an agenda somewhere, and it almost makes Lavi want to frown upon realizing the old man was up to something concerning his friend.

But that was a thought for another time.]

Of course. I can teach you some German if you want, too, while we're here.

[Those stories would eventually be passed down to him, but that was for a different time. Natsuo didn't even tell Lavi the details the he told Bookman. It was fine though. He was happy to have his friends time now.]

Yeah! That would be good. Don't want to need to you just to find the nearest bathroom.

[Natsuo grinned as they arrived at the room. After it was open, Natsuo blinked.]

Only one bed?

[Before running over and jumping on it.]

This is mine!

[One day he'll get the facts.

One day.]

Alright, then I'll start teaching you once we're settled in.

[Aw, shit.

Lavi pouts when Natsuo runs over and claims the bed.]

Then where am I going to sleep?

[Natuso spread him self out as much as he could on the bed, but he wasn't big enough to cover the entire thing. His ears flattened against his head.]

Can't you call the hotel about it? Maybe they cal bring a roll away bed up for you.

[The kitten nuzzled his face into the soft covers.]

It's so warm~

[Totally teasing the other for not having a bed of his own.

Maybe I should just call 'em and ask for my own room.

[He is technically rich enough to afford that.

He pouts when Natsuo starts to tease him, picking up a throw pillow from the couch and throwing it at him.]

[Natsuo visibly tensed when Lavi suggested that he gets his own room. His tail bristled and hey jumped up. He was about to protest verbally, but then a pillow was thrown his way. Natsuo caught it, holding it tight in his panic.]

No! Don't go! [He was embarrassed, but more afraid then anything else as he looked away. His ears and tail were plastered to his body.]

I've never slept by myself before. I'll take the pull out bed if it means you stay. I don't think I could sleep without anyone else in the room.

[The reaction earned a surprised look from Lavi, watching him closely.

It's definitely looking like he kicked a kitten - figuratively, of course.

But then he registers his words and holds back a smile, crossing his arms across his chest.]

Relax, relax. I was just kidding. I'd be more terrified of leaving you alone in a foreign land, anyway.

[Natsuo brightens up at that, smiling truly smiling for once since they got their. He'd needed some sleep after that plane ride.]

Good. [He said before then threw the pillow back at Lavi before hopping off the bed. He was back to his sass again. Isn't that one of his charming points though? He was starving now though.]

Are you going to call the front desk? Can we get room service?

[Catching the pillow, Lavi refrains the urge to snort at how quick Natsuo's moods seems to have changed.

He places the pillow back down onto the couch.]

How much money do you think I have exactly?

[Even so, he goes to the phone. He needed to make calls concerning about the awful room arrangement and that he has a cat to feed before the hunger gets worse.]

Would it be awful if I told you to go shower?

Lots.

[Was Natsuo's simple answer. How else was all this happening? There was no fooling this smart cat. He may act like a goof, but he was an A+ student and a smart ass. Deadly combo.]

I'll take a bath.

[Contrary little think. He actually didn't take showers because of the risk of falling though. Not that he'd really told Lavi the extent of his lack of feeling. Lavi had at lest figured out his inability to tell hot and cold though. Natsuo was always impressed by the things he knew.]

I want meat~ [He sang before heading into the bathroom.]

(ooc, you reminded me to take a shower XD )

Damn.

[No wonder why Lavi has trouble keeping Natsuo off his toes. If he wasn't so smart, he'd be leading Natsuo around.

Not that he wants to, of course.]

Don't forget to bring your clothes in with you! [He calls after him, only because he doesn't want to have to bring Natsuo his clothes and end up seeing things he shouldn't.

But he huffs, eye rolling and he goes to make the call.]

[ooc; lol /thumbs up]

[Natuso just throws his clothes out the door, but doesn't get new ones. There are fluffy white robes in the bathroom he can wear anyway! He wants to sit around in the things. Plus he loves making his friend huffy.

After about 30 minutes, Natuso walks out in the fluffy robe. It's too big for him, but he wrapped it tightly around his body. It was fluffy and warm and Natsuo was happy. Thankfully the tub has a setting to set the temperature. Other wise could have hurt himself.

That was really nice!

[Well, whether Natsuo likes it or not, there's a pair of his clothes folded neatly on top of the bed.

One day, he'll get to the cat.

When Natsuo comes out, Lavi's just settled on the couch, legs crossed, as he looks over some notes and nibbling on a French fry he had ordered; Natsuo's meal placed on the coffee table in the room.

He looks up at him.]

Enjoyed your bath?

[ooc; I figured this might help in being able to visualize the hotel room more.]

[Hey may get to the kitten one say, but for today he's going to ignore the clothes for a bit longer to snuggly into the warm bath robe. At lest he assumes it's warm and soft. It looks it. He likes to pretend you can feel those sorts of things sometimes.

He went over the the chair by the table and lifted the lid off. It steamed a bit and he sat back with a sigh.]

Yeah. How hot is this? Can I eat it right now?

(ooc, that does help! Thank you very much ^^)

[Sometimes, he wonders if the kitten is sane at times, honestly. But he won't ruin his fun.]

Yeah, you can eat it now.

[Kitten is more hard headed then insane. He's going to eat a few bites of his burger before grabbing the cloths and going to change. Honestly pretending is only for when it's annoying to others. Did that make him insane? It didn't really matter.

When he came out, Natsuo sat on the arm of Lavi's chair instead of sitting with his food.]

So, what German can you teach me?

[Well, Lavi's seen a lot of weird things.

He has a best friend currently living somewhere in China, after all, who seems to be dealing with some kind of personality and memory issues.

Lavi sits up straight when Natsuo sits close to him, though.]

I figured I'd teach you some basic phases and words first. Don't ask me to teach you how to cuss, though.

[ooc; I'm fine! Sorry for the lag in tags. I've been busy lately.]

[China?? Natsuo will be insisting on coming with him if Lavi goes to visit that interesting friend.

As for not teaching him cuss words? That is getting a pout for sure.]

Really? That's not fair. How am I supposed to know when people are cussing at me for being a smart ass.

[He grins. To be fair, being a smart ass was his favorite pass time.]

(ooc It's okay ^-^ I'm happy to hear you're fine. Lots of drama on my end, sick mom and RP crap = terrible mix )

[That might be one trip Lavi will protest to.

He's sure Yu will kill him for sure.

He hums, reaching over to poke Natsuo's forehead without looking at him.]

I'm sure you can read the context clues. I'm not going to let you get into trouble because of your sassiness.

[ooc; ooh, that sucks. Hope everything's going well for you soon, though.]

[Protest all you want. Natsuo would find a way. He always did.

Who was Yu? Natsuo wanted to meet him! You have strange friends, Lavi. It's why Natsuo clung to him. Never a dull moment.

As for the poke? He's going to lean over and and just lean on Lavi's head in return, since he didn't decide to look at him. His tail flicks a bit too.]

Okay, mom. [He'll just learn those words with those context clues when he does get into that trouble.] Teach away.

[He'll need to put a leash on this kitty.

He hums, closing his book and taking out his notepad.]

If you call me 'mom' again, I'm not gonna teach you anything.

[But he's teasing mostly; he really doesn't want Natsuo to get into trouble with the German government.]

[Dad then? Was what Natsuo had thought of saying, but stopped himself from doing. He actually did want to learn some German. Just being an ass as opposed to a smart ass wasn't fun. Even he knew that doing his normal tricks wasn't going to happen if he didn't know how to introduce himself.

So, time to be good.. ish.]

Should I get my own note book, Senpai?

[What? He didn't say mom!]

(ooc, having a good weekend?)

[Natsuo, don't make the redhead angry or pouty.

Definitely don't make him pouty.

But he chuckles.]

That might be a good idea. [He glances at the clock.] Today's lesson will be short, though. Can't spend the whole day giving you lessons.

[ooc; can't complain. How was your weekend?]

[It's hard not to. He's still learning what being a friend to someone other than Youji really means. He's trying though.

Natsuo grins and goes to get his bag and a chair. He'll drag both back to Where Lavi was sitting.]

May have forgotten that I've already been studying on my own.

[He grins, pulling out a notebook filled with German phrases and handy words.]

I still want to hear what you wanted to teach me though~

(ooc, terrible. I've been sick with Parvo.)

[Lavi smirks.]

Let's see if you can keep up then.

[Because now he's going to speak to you in German.]

[ooc; D: you should be resting.]

[Have a smirk back. He'll flip the book open, the pages landing a number of smart ass phrases that he translated. He'll point to one and start speaking German to.]

Let's get this started.

(ooc, Been sleeping off and on for the past few days. It's fun to answer tags when my brain isn't feverish. ^^)

[Lavi chuckles.

Let the teaching begin!]

[ooc; Well--that's fortunate. And I apologize for the major delay again.]

[Natsuo is getting bored now. They've been studying long enough, right? He's going to close his notes and stretch out.]

Bed time?

[He's going to jump up and stretch out some more.]

I call the middle!

[Before bounding over to the bed.]

Man, you don't give a guy a chance, do you?

[But he won't complain. He just cleans everything up and gets to his feet in order to stretch.]

{Natsuo just grins at him, his tail swishing back and fourth.]

Are you going to be my body pillow?

[Raising an eyebrow, Lavi looks faintly amused.]

You think I'd pass up the chance to be somebody's body pillow? Shame you're not my type, though.

You're honestly too skinny for it anyway.

[Have a another grin before Natsuo just sits back onto the bed, looking curious about this statement. He wasn't expecting anything but rejection to be honest.]

Who is your type then?

How skinny do you think I am?

[At the question, he hums.]

Not telling.

[Natsuo just shrugged.]

Don't know. You always turn me down when I ask you to take a bath with me.

[It was something it often did with Ritsuka and Youji. It didn't feel like something that friends shouldn't do to him. it was just a bath after all.

[At that answer, Natsuo grins.]

I'll tell you some of the things I told your old man if you start talking.

Maybe I just don't want to bathe with you.

[Being in the hot springs is fine, but in a bathtub? No. It feels a bit too personal and he does enjoy some alone time.

But that gets his attention, sparking his curiosity.

Me telling you my type isn't as equivalent as to what you told my old man.

Yeah yeah, I get that.

[Natsuo just acted cute. Of course the two things weren't equal.]

You can be in my dept. Once you've told me enough to equal something, I'll tell you it.
